Katy Perry wows in wild barely-there cutout dress at Vogue World: Paris

Katy Perry may have just worn her boldest look yet.

On Sunday, the singer, 39, joined some of fashion’s top names at Vogue World: Paris, walking the runway at Place Vendôme wearing a black, skin-baring gown from Noir Kei Ninomiya. The archival piece was mostly made up of multiple geometric-shaped cutouts, which barely covered  Perry’s breasts and left no room for undergarments. The bottom portion of the dress included floral embellishments made of tulle — and while the details provided a bit more coverage, for the most part, the star’s body was very much exposed.

However, the songstress had no problem living up to the lyrics of her upcoming single, “Woman’s World,” nailing those “sexy, confident” vibes as she strutted her stuff in the elaborate outfit, which was paired with lace-up black boots. Perry’s team didn’t hold back when it came to glam, either. Her makeup included pops of color in the form of berry eyeshadow and lipstick, while her hair was styled in a slicked back, wet look, adding to the drama.

Naturally, Perry felt the outfit was well worth a permanent spot on her Instagram, posting a series of photos with the caption “VOGUE WORLD x WOMAN’S WORLD.” But while a number of shots showed her posing for the camera, she made sure to include a behind-the-scenes video of herself receiving walking tips from FKA twigs and Cara Delevingne. “Just make sure it’s not dead behind the eyes, make sure you look like you’re going somewhere, but like not in a pop star way,” FKA twigs can be heard telling Perry in the clip, to which the former “American Idol” host had the perfect response. “I’ve only ever been a pop star!” she admitted.

The pals continued to cheer on Perry as she practiced, but it was supermodel Delevingne who thought to advise her to be “like a tiger” — something the “Roar” singer likely had no problem channelingOther A-listers who walked in the fanciful show, which showcases multiple designers from all over the world in partnership with Vogue magazine, included Sabrina Carpenter, quarterback Joe Burrow, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and a performance by Bad Bunny.
