Jennifer Lawrence Has PDA-Filled Lunch Date with Husband Cooke Maroney After Announcing Pregnancy with Baby No. 2.

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are soaking up some time together before baby No. 2. After confirming that they are expecting another child on Sunday, Oct. 20, the Oscar winner, 34, and her art gallery director husband, 40, stepped out for lunch in Los Angeles together, photos shared by DeuxMoi show. Lawrence showed off her baby bump in an oversized yellow button-up and baggy black trousers, while Maroney wore a white T-shirt and black pants.

The expectant parents did not avoid PDA while they strolled in the city, holding hands and sharing a kiss. Lawrence and Maroney confirmed to Vogue that they are expecting their second baby earlier in the day. The couple — who tied the knot in October 2019 — are already parents to a 2-year-old son Cy, who they welcomed in February 2022. Lawrence and Maroney are very private about Cy, speaking about him quite rarely. Lawrence did, however, jokingly compare him to a voodoo doll in a 2022 Vogue cover story, because, as she explained it, everything that hurts him hurts her.

“I mean the euphoria of Cy is just— Jesus, it’s impossible,” she told the magazine of her son, who was just a few months old when the interview was published. “I always tell him, I love you so much it’s impossible,” she added. While speaking with fellow actress and mom Cameron Diaz for Interview Magazine last June, Lawrence also opened up about how becoming a mom has influenced her attitude toward paparazzi. After Diaz, 52, told her that she has “done a really great job at protecting” the toddler, the No Hard Feelings star said, “I do my best.”

“I was so nervous when I was pregnant,” she continued. “I was getting paparazzi’d, and I was just like, ‘How the f--- am I not going to lose it on these guys when they’re taking a picture of my baby?’ ”Once Cy was born, however, Lawrence said she “realized that my energy is more important to him than anything else.” "So if he feels that I’m anxious before I leave the house, or I’m angry when we’re outside, that’s going to impact him,” she explained to Diaz. “So it’s actually done the opposite, where I’ve gotten a little bit more zen and a little bit more relaxed with getting photographed, because I don’t have a choice. You just have to accept it, and take a deep breath and walk.” “I don’t want him to inherit the anxiety and anger that I have,” she added. Elsewhere in her chat with Diaz, the Hunger Games alum not only mentioned Maroney — also a rare occurrence — but dubbed him “the greatest father in the entire world.”
