Two Israeli embassy employees killed in Washington shooting
US media reported that two Israeli embassy employees were killed in a shooting near the Jewish Museum in Washington.
US police confirmed the arrest of the suspect in the shooting incident. The Washington Police Chief stated that a suspect is in custody, adding, "The suspect was seen walking around outside the museum before the shooting and was later arrested by security personnel."

Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, stated that "the shooting outside the Jewish Museum in Washington was an anti-Semitic terrorist act."

According to the Israeli Embassy in Washington, the two embassy employees killed outside the city's Jewish Museum were "shot at close range."
Ted Deutch, CEO of the American Jewish Committee, confirmed to ABC News that the committee had organized an event at the museum on Wednesday evening, adding, "We are shocked by this heinous act of violence that occurred outside the venue."
