Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia enters negotiations to sign Messi
Saudi club Al-Ahli Jeddah has entered into negotiations to sign Argentine star Lionel Messi, the Inter Miami striker, according to French newspaper L'Equipe.
The newspaper reported that the Al-Ahli Saudi club management wants to sign Messi as a free agent after his contract with the American club expires next December.
The newspaper added that Saudi clubs' interest in signing Messi is no secret, as there were strong attempts to sign him in the summer of 2023 after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
