The plane landed at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in North Carolina on Sunday morning, arriving from Europe around 9:00 a.m. Workers found the body while conducting routine checks.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police declared an unidentified person dead at the scene. An investigation into the death is underway, and anyone with information is asked to contact local police.
This horrific discovery comes after two teenage stowaways were found dead in the wheel well of a JetBlue plane last January.
