American YouTuber "Adam the Woo" died at his home in Florida at the age of 51.
The famous American YouTuber Adam the Woo, also known as David Adam Williams, died at his home in Florida at the age of 51.
YouTuber Adam the Woo, also known as David Adam Williams, died at the age of 51 inside his home in Celebration, Florida, on Monday, December 22, according to the Osula County Sheriff's Office.
A police spokesperson told PEOPLE magazine that officers went to Williams' home after failing to contact him, before a friend discovered his body through a third-floor window. Rescue and fire crews then entered the scene, where he was officially pronounced dead.
Police confirmed that the deceased YouTuber's parents had been informed of the news, noting that a coroner would conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, which is still under investigation.
Farewell messages from his friends and content creators
Following the announcement, several of Williams' friends and colleagues in the YouTube world posted heartfelt farewell messages on social media. One wrote, "The world has lost a giant, and I have lost a friend closer to me than blood," asking for prayers for his parents and sister, Faith, during this difficult time.His close friend Chris Yun also expressed his shock at the departure via his Instagram account, noting that he had visited him a few days earlier and reminisced about their time together during tours in Celebration, in addition to Williams talking about his projects and future plans on his channel.
His YouTube career and beginnings
David Adam Williams began his YouTube career in 2009, before launching his most famous channel, "The Daily Woo," in 2012, through which he presented daily video blogs for five consecutive years.During that period, he documented his travels across various American states, his visits to small towns, amusement parks, and haunted houses, in addition to covering a large number of tourist events and activities.
Williams was known as a prominent Disney enthusiast, regularly visiting Disneyland and Disney World, and photographing a number of historical sites associated with the name Walt Disney.
These sites included Love-O-Gram Studios and Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri, along with other places related to the history of the entertainment industry.
The final episode of "The Daily Woo" aired on Saturday, December 21, and included a tour of Celebration to spot Christmas decorations, marking the last thing Williams offered his fans before his sudden death.
