The Turkish opposition attacked the regime of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, demanding it "to achieve justice and establish the foundations of democracy."
This came in statements made by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, President of the Republican People's Party, the largest Turkish opposition party, during a meeting of his party. The opposition leader stressed that there are some political detainees who defend their freedom and beliefs in prisons, noting that Turkey needs to be cleansed of the injustice inflicted upon it.
