Due to a large number of sexual attacks against women in which football players were engaged, numerous groups protecting women's rights in Britain have long demanded that all players in the English Premier League undergo mandatory training on consensual sexual relations.

The newspaper added that such training was "only available in the past for young people and not for adults," noting that the training courses "will focus on the issue of consensual sexual relations in addition to the issue of sexual harassment," according to the same daily.
