Several private parties have been announced featuring shows by international artists and now three of the most important artists of recent times have joined this trend to make an extra bit of cash on the side in between studio albums and tours. So, the Colombian superstar and two Americans will be headlining a long-awaited event in the coming days as part of the pre-wedding of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, son of Asia's most renowned tycoon and billionaire.
 
Mukesh Ambani, his father, is an Indian billionaire worth somewhere in the region of $113.7 billion and serves as the managing director of Reliance Industries, ranking as the 11th-richest person in the world as of 2024.How much will Katy Perry and Shakira be paid to sing at Viren Merchant's party? The 58-year-old billionaire Viren Merchant, originally from India, is known for becoming the founder of the global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, Encore Healthcare and has not hesitated to hire these great stars to perform their best songs .

According to several sources, Merchant is reportedly paying each of them more than six million dollars so that they can be the stars of the great event that will signify his legacy aboard an exclusive cruise ship, as well as in a huge estate, where their concerts will be held. Shakira, Katy Perry and Pitbull will perform for an audience of some 800 special guests, including some of India's top Bollywood stars, as well as entrepreneurs in the technology industry, such as Alia Bhatta and Ranbir Kapoor .

Also in attendance will be the former Indian cricket captain Ms Dhoni, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft's co-founder Bill Gates as they all enjoy the celebrations on a joyous day.
