Player agent threatens Premier League star with a "gun" on the streets of London 

British press reports revealed that a Premier League football player was threatened with a gun on a busy street in London by a prominent agent who works with an England national team player.

The British newspaper "The Sun" reported that a football player in his twenties, whose name was not revealed and whose market value is estimated at around 60 million pounds sterling, was targeted while walking on a busy street in London with a friend.

The report added that the agent, who has a similar reputation and is said to represent an international player in the England national team, was arrested "last month on suspicion of using a firearm with the intent to cause fear or violence," before being released.

The incident occurred on September 6th, when police were called at 11:14 PM that day, but no one was hurt.
The player's agent, who was reportedly visited at his home by police two days later, is also under investigation for allegedly blackmailing and threatening the player's friend, although no charges have yet been filed against him.

The suspect was released on bail on September 9, but according to the terms of his bail, the report alleges he must not contact the player, and police have also barred him from traveling to the player's club's training ground.

A magistrate in October agreed to amend the bail, allowing the agent to travel on pre-booked overseas flights, but he must return his passport to the police upon his return.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed to The Sun newspaper that they are investigating the incident.
A source told the newspaper: "This was a terrifying incident, and it has sent shockwaves through the football world. The player was understandably in shock; receiving threats with a gun is a shocking thing."
