Ivanka Trump breaks down in tears, revealing her husband's battle with cancer.

Ivanka Trump, the daughter of US President Donald Trump, sparked widespread reaction after appearing in an interview with the popular podcast Diary of a CEO, where she shed tears and cried emotionally while talking about her late mother Ivana Trump, and also recalled the moment her husband Jared Kushner was diagnosed with cancer for the second time.

During the interview, which lasted about 90 minutes, Ivanka remembered her mother, who died in 2022 at the age of 73 following an accident at her home in New York, stressing that her absence left a great void in her life.

The American businesswoman couldn't hold back her tears as she spoke, saying, "I had just left Washington. Our lives were in flux; Jared was diagnosed with thyroid cancer for the second time, and then my mother passed away."
She added: "I am strong in endurance and in separating my emotions. That's why psychotherapy was necessary for me."

Her mother Ivana's death in 2022 came just weeks after Kushner underwent a second surgery for cancer.
Her husband had been secretly battling thyroid cancer, having surgery in 2019 while working at the White House to remove a tumor from his throat, and then undergoing a second surgery a few years later, according to the British newspaper The Sun.

"A real nightmare"

In addition, Ivanka described the moment she watched the assassination attempt on her father in Pennsylvania live on television in July 2023 as a "real nightmare," as fear gripped the family, especially with her children watching the situation.
She said that seeing her father get up and leave peacefully was the moment she breathed a sigh of relief, but its psychological impact remained etched within her.

She also confirmed that her father, despite his role and preoccupations, was always present in her life, and was keen to respond to her at all times, even during meetings or negotiations, considering that he always gave her priority.

It is noted that Ivanka is her father's second daughter from his first wife.
Donald Trump has five children. From his first wife, Ivana Trump, he had three children: Donald Trump Jr. (born 1977), Ivanka Trump (born 1981), and Eric Trump (born 1984). They have played prominent roles in managing the family's business and public activities.

From his second marriage to Marla Maples, he had a daughter, Tiffany Trump (born 1993), who is known for her media presence and her studies in law.
From his current wife, Melania Trump, he had his youngest son, Barron Trump (born in 2006), who is the youngest member of the family.
