Messi fails again to achieve his first victory in front of his home crowd.

Veteran Argentine star Lionel Messi failed once again to achieve his first victory at his team Inter Miami's new stadium, "No Stadium," after only managing a 2-2 draw with Red Bull New York on Saturday in the American Football League.

A week after Messi and his teammates drew by the same score against Austin FC in the opening match of their new stadium, the young New York squad managed to come back with a draw as well.

New York dampened the enthusiasm of the home fans after just 15 minutes, when 18-year-old striker Julian Hall did a brilliant job on the right wing that confused Miami's defense.
Hall drew two defenders with him before passing a low cross to the unmarked Mexican Jorge Rovalcaba, who shot the ball into the net past Canadian goalkeeper Dane St. Clair.

But Miami equalized just before the halftime whistle, when Argentine striker Matero Silveti finished the ball into the net from close range following a cross from his compatriot Rodrigo De Paul (45+1).

Miami looked in control after the halftime break, and Uruguayan defender Maxi Falcon came close to putting his team ahead, but his header went wide of the post after a corner kick taken by De Paul.

Both Messi and Silvete wasted clear chances, before Miami took the lead in the 55th minute through Mexican striker of Argentine origin, Germán Bertrami, who received the ball after it was turned to him by New York midfielder Adrie Mehmetti, 17, and shot it low into the net.

New York thought they had leveled the score midway through the half when Germany's Robert Voloder fired a low shot into the net, but the goal was disallowed for offside after a VAR review.
New York's equalizer came in the 77th minute, following a dribble inside the area by Julian Hall, before he passed to his teenage teammate Mehmet, who put the ball into the net.

Miami pressed hard in the final minutes, and Messi came close to snatching a winning goal from a free kick in stoppage time, but goalkeeper Ethan Horvath shone and saved his team.
With this third draw in seven games so far, compared to three wins and one loss, Miami raised its tally to 12 points in third place in the Eastern Conference standings, four points behind leader Nashville, which beat Charlotte 2-1 on Saturday.
