The world's most visited cities: Dubai ranks third

At the end of last year, Euromonitor International released a ranking of the top 10 cities worldwide for international visitors.

Istanbul topped the list, with the Turkish city receiving a staggering 20.2 million international visitors in 2023, a 26% increase from 2022.

London came in second place, with 18.8 million international visitors last year, with the number of visitors to the British capital growing 17% year-on-year. New York is the only US destination to make the list.

Dubai ranked third globally and first in the Arab world, while Mecca ranked tenth globally.

The report indicated that international travel continued to experience a strong recovery in 2023, with a 38% growth in the number of international trips, estimated to reach 1.3 billion by the end of the year.
