English football club Manchester City announced the signing of Algerian defender Rayan Ait-Nouri from his compatriot Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Manchester City revealed that the 24-year-old left-back has signed a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium, keeping him with the team until the summer of 2030.
After his move to Manchester City, Ait-Nouri said: "I am very happy and proud to play for Manchester City. Manchester City is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the opportunity to play for them was a dream come true."
He continued: "I am also excited to work under Pep Guardiola and his coaching staff, as well as to play and train with some of the best players in the world. Joining Manchester City is also an honor for my family."
Ait-Nouri began his career in the youth ranks of Angers in France, then played for the first team between 2018 and 2021, before moving to Wolverhampton, where he spent four seasons, scoring eight goals in 118 appearances.
