Saudi Arabia's Al Hilal continued their strong performances in the 2025 Club World Cup, achieving a valuable 2-0 victory over Mexico's Pachuca in the third and final round of the group stage.

The match was held at dawn on Friday at Geodesy Park in Nashville, with a crowd of over 30,000 in attendance. The match was part of the third and final round of Group H, which also includes Real Madrid and Salzburg.

Salem Al Dawsari scored the first goal of the match in the 22nd minute, firing over the Pachuca goalkeeper and into the net. Leonardo added the second goal in the 95th minute, dribbling past the goalkeeper and then firing into the net.

Al-Hilal achieved its first victory under Italian coach Simone Inzaghi since joining from Inter Milan on June 5, drawing its first two matches against Real Madrid (1-1) and Salzburg (0-0).

Al-Hilal became the first Asian and Arab club in history to advance beyond the group stage of the new FIFA Club World Cup, and is also the only Asian and Arab club to continue its journey in the tournament.

Al-Hilal will play Manchester City, which includes Egyptian star Omar Marmoush, in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Al-Hilal is scheduled to face Manchester City in the round of 16 on Tuesday, July 1, at 4:00 AM, at Camping World Stadium.
