A touching moment: Salah bids farewell to Liverpool's stadium alongside his two daughters.
Egyptian star Mohamed Salah offered an emotional farewell glimpse, after posting three photos of himself alongside his two daughters on Wednesday, in snapshots that British newspapers considered a hint at the farewell video that Liverpool FC is scheduled to release in the coming days. The Egyptian star will leave the Reds in the upcoming summer transfer window after an amazing nine-year spell, but recently Salah's relationship with the club has deteriorated due to several outbursts of anger towards coach Arne Slott. He is preparing to play his last match with Liverpool next Sunday against Brentford, to bid farewell to Liverpool fans at Anfield after 441 matches and nine titles. The 33-year-old posted a series of photos on Wednesday via his social media accounts, in which he appeared with his two daughters, Mecca (11 years old) and Kayan (6 years old), and next to a framed photo of him celebrating one of his goals with Liverpool. According to British media, the images may be a hint at his farewell video, which is scheduled to be released before his final match. At the same time, Salah is going through a difficult period at the club under coach Arne Slott
as their relationship has recently deteriorated due to several outbursts of anger from the Egyptian towards the Dutch coach, prompting English football stars, including Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, to demand that Salah be banned from his farewell match as punishment.
