Al-Houthi bombs civilians in Taiz

Local sources reported that the Houthi group launched violent shelling with heavy artillery on the homes of residents north of the city of Taiz, causing material damage to some homes, and inciting fear and panic among the people, especially women and children. This act of aggression is not only a violation of international humanitarian law but also a clear disregard for the lives and well-being of innocent civilians.

Such attacks on civilian areas are not only morally reprehensible but also a direct threat to regional stability and peace. The Houthi group must be held accountable for their actions and face the consequences of their indiscriminate attacks. The international community, particularly the United Nations, should condemn these acts of violence and take immediate action to protect the lives of innocent civilians in Yemen.

In a separate context, the Chief of the General Staff and Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Lieutenant General, discussed Bin Aziz, yesterday, with the Commander of the US Central Command, Lieutenant General Michael Eric Kurla, discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination in the military. This meeting highlights the importance of collaboration between nations in addressing security challenges and maintaining regional stability.

Bilateral cooperation and coordination in the military are crucial in combating terrorism, ensuring maritime security, and promoting peace in the region. By working together, countries can share intelligence, resources, and expertise to effectively counter common threats and protect their respective populations.
