Trump describes his deal with China as "great"

US President Donald Trump described his agreement with China as "great." Trump explained that China will supply rare earth elements to the United States in advance as part of a trade agreement between the two countries.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump described the relationship between the world's two largest economies as "excellent." He was quoted as saying, "We'll get a total tariff of 55%, while China will only get 10%."

Trump indicated that China will supply rare earth elements and "any necessary rare earth elements" in advance. In return, the United States will offer concessions, including allowing Chinese students to study at its universities.

The US President explained that the agreement is still subject to final approval between him and Chinese President Xi Jinping, emphasizing his intention to work closely with Xi to open the Chinese market to US trade, describing it as a "huge win for both countries!"
